Job Description
OverviewThis position will serve as the lead audio engineer for Milwaukee Bucks games, Marquette Men's Basketball games and special events at Fiserv Forum. This person should have expert knowledge of live event audio mixing and be responsible for event day setup and operation of the PA sound system.Responsibilities* Setup and operate Yamaha CL5 Audio Board console for live event PA* Work with and maintain the Crown amps, JBL Speakers, Dante, Riedel, Audio Architect, ClickEffects ProAudio, Shure mics/IEMs and wireless coordination* Maintain best practices for live event audio mixing per NBA and NCAA regulations* Work with in-arena DJ's to ensure optimal music experience for live sporting events* Collaborate with the Gameday Director and Producer to better enhance the in-game entertainment experience* Ability to take direction and perform tasks independently and efficiently* Be proactive and maintain positive working relationships with staff* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications* Proficient with Yamaha Audio Board consoles or equivalent audio production consoles, Crown amps, JBL Speakers, Dante, Riedel, Audio Architect, ClickEffects Audio, Shure mics/IEMs and wireless coordination* Minimum 5 years' experience of live audio mixing within an in-arena control room setting* Understanding of Scoreboard Control Room workflows* Ability to work in fast paced environment* Be able to lift, move and/or carry audio equipment* Must be able to work with team* Ability to work with performers in a professional setting* Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills* Have a strong work ethic, positive attitude & leadership qualities* Punctual, regular and consistent attendance* Be able to work nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedules* Be able to work effectively with all levels of staff, management, executive leadership and event managers.
