This role will report into Vista West, our newest Senior Living Community located on the west side of Madison.SUMMARYThe Community Relations Manager is responsible for obtaining occupancy goals, working with the community Executive Director(s) and other community leaders to ensure revenues related to occupancy are meeting the approved budget for the community. The Community Relations Manager achieves these goals by developing and implementing innovative community outreach and marketing programs. This position develops, coordinates, directs, and executes all sales efforts and relationship building with potential residents, current residents, families, and other key influencers.What's in it for you?* Flexible hours* Opportunity to help and support an older generation* A career that gives back to the community* Competitive Pay and Benefits* 401(k) with a company match* Paid time off* Training opportunities* Opportunity for internal growthESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:* Support, follow and carry out the company vision, mission and values.* Perform community marketing activities including community outreach, activities with businesses that help influence the senior market, tours, prospective resident follow-up, internal and external sales monitoring in order to achieve maximum occupancy of the community. Educates medical community regarding Capri Communities' healthcare services and GROW program.* Participate in coordinating and planning events for the community to attract potential residents and generate tours; ensure entire campus is aware of events and utilize all departments (i.e. culinary) in a way that further markets the property overall.* Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the marketing programs and activities in order to maintain and increase our census and to provide the public with information relative to our community, its programs, services and practices.* Ensure compliance with all Fair Housing laws, HIPPA regulations, WHEDA/HUD, safety and any other regulations related to our business. Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents and staff.* Assess prospective residents to determine appropriateness for the community.* Be well-versed and able to effectively communicate services and cost to potential residents and family members. Effectively utilize need-based selling techniques to present Capri Communities' benefits to prospects and family members.* Develop a marketing action plan, including an active lead database and follow-up activities. Identify current trends in the marketplace by completing a competitive analysis and updating the marketing strategy plan as needed to meet changing market and competitive conditions.* Coach and assist other non-marketing staff members in the development and use of marketing policies and procedures and establish a rapport with and between all community departments.* Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners such as the state and national Argentum chapters, Alzheimer's Association, AARP, Diabetes Foundation, etc. Serve as liaison with outside agencies to create goodwill for Capri Communities and educate those outside agencies on Capri's services.* Communicate progress, success, challenges and concerns with the Executive Director as it relates to the building or residents.QUALIFICATIONS* Bachelors Degree in Business with a Sales/Marketing emphasis plus one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Previous Assisted Living (RCAC or CBRF) experience preferred, as is familiarity with State of WI Chapter DHS 89 guidelines.* Marketing and/or public relations contact in area community preferred.
