Location: US:WI: MENOMONEE FALLS at our FROEDTERT MEN FALLS HOSPITAL facility.

Shift: Shift 4

The primary location is FMFH but will also be covering shifts at FWBH. Call and holiday rotation will be only at FMFH. Expected to cover shifts on 1st 2nd and weekends


Summary:


Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. This individual interacts with imaging staff nursing physicians patients and visitors. Acts as a resource person for MRI technical and other issues and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Operates MRI and related equipment prepares scan room - equipment supplies and medications. This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:


One to three years of experience is preferred.Graduation of a JCERT approved two-year radiologic technology program is required.Two or four-year college degree in radiologic technology healthcare business or other related degree is preferred.Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class is required.ARRT registration is required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire. SITE-SPECIFIC: .For those sites requiring advanced certification in MRI & CT MR must be achieved within the first 18 months. CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of the hire date. BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date. State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if incumbent performs CT general radiography or any other imaging using ionizing radiation; if the practice is limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound no state license is required.


Other information:


Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class is required. Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection; ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required.
