Address: 111 W Monroe - 115 S LaSalle Job Family Group: Data Analytics & Reporting Description As a Revenue Management Consultant and a critical member of the Revenue Management team, the role will focus on the strategic aspects of Cash Management, Deposit and Corporate Card pricing mandates. The role is accountable for creating and executing on value added pricing initiatives including price benchmarking, standard price changes, new pricing initiatives, pricing analytics and deal pricing with an eye towards an overall mandate of price simplification and revenue optimization. The Revenue Management Consultant will have advisory experience, be well versed with the latest analytics tools and have comfort in synthesizing complex data sets. This role will be responsible for developing insights and recommendations that can be leveraged by senior executives for critical decision-making and the development of the overall pricing strategy. This role will partner with Product and Sales Teams to deliver valued advisory guidance on revenue enhancing projects to ensure increased benefit for the Treasury & Payment Solutions financials. Accountabilities The candidate will act as a SME to develop analytical models and formulate insights to provide leaders and other stakeholders the information they need to drive decisions and action: + Develop enhanced pricing analytics to provide insights into development of optimal pricing strategy + Benchmarking: + Act as SME for all pricing benchmarking, liaising with the external vendor, Sales and Product to optimize value to the organization. + Manage reporting and outputs, develop insights to improve clarity and competitiveness of pricing + Use benchmarking to drive revenue enhancements via annual standard pricing updates, initiate leads campaigns and other pricing initiatives + Identify pricing challenges that impact the Customer Experience or are pain points to Sales teams and work with Product Management and Sales to resolve + Support the pricing and revenue aspect of product conversions and new product releases + Establish a methodology and provide recommendations to review and track revenue performance + Advise key stakeholders on opportunities to reduce risk, optimize margins, and resolve revenue leakage issues through close partnership with product and sales leaders + Foster the Pricing Simplification mandate in all aspects of pricing - in tools, deals, initiatives and processes + Build relationships with partner groups: Sales, Billing, Workforce Effectiveness and Product Qualifications + Undergraduate degree (BA, B.Sc. or BBA), ideally in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics. MBA, CFA, or graduate degree in related field strongly preferred + Exceptional problem solving skills (consulting experience is an asset) + 5-7 years of experience in financial services + Knowledge of Cash Management and Corporate Card products and pricing, including proven execution of analytic projects and initiatives; preferably with a pricing focus + Deep expertise in analytical concepts and models (business intelligence software experience an asset) + Well versed in Excel, Access, and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI experience is an asset) + Knowledge of analytics engines such as Alteryx, and/or SQL coding experience, is a plus + Strong presentation skills, particularly the ability to present complex information in a simplified manner to senior audiences + Works well independently and in ambiguous situations + Confident in the accuracy of analytic output and strong attention to detail while understanding the 'big picture' + Understanding of the Bank's systems/processes is an asset + Able to bridge gaps and develop relationships with peers and partners + Location: Primary Chicago; secondary Milwaukee/Brookfield or Toronto We're here to help At BMO Harris Bank we are driven by a shared Purpose: Boldly Grow the Good in business and life.
