To achieve our mission in **Microsoft's United States Enterprise Commercial** (US EC) organization, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to take on both **Executive Communications and Field Engagement** . This role requires the ability to think both at a strategic and programmatic level, be able to effectively drive processes and consistency across the business and deliver impactful business outcomes. The individual needs to be comfortable working with and engaging senior leaders while managing priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment. This role will orchestrate across a variety of stakeholders for core deliverables and requires an individual who is a great team player, a self-starter, strategic thinker and adaptable to jumping in to solve issues and drive solutions across the business. **ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:** The Microsoft US Enterprise Commercial (USEC) organization is 3300+ people strong and growing! We span multiple sales roles across the US (including employees in other countries that support some of our largest strategic customers). In the Enterprise Commercial West Region Operating Unit, we are looking for a strategic story-teller with sales experience and a passion for customer and partner excellence. **Responsibilities** **Executive Communications for Midwest Regional VP** + Lead, create and execute the Enterprise Operating Unit's (EOU) communications strategy (internal & external), messaging framework and overall plan. In partnership with the RVP and Chief of Ops office, provide communications support for internal and external communication needs. + Construct, plan and execute on executive communication support including leader messaging and development, org and employee communications (e.g., all-hands/newsletters/events), internal and external presentation and content support. + Build and maintain a communications library of stories and presentation materials. + Develop a rhythm of communication that builds upon the US EC and MSUS communication plan and drives clarity and engagement for the organization. + Deliver executive-level work products including scripts, speeches, videos, and social media amplification plans. Create and maintain visually impactful communications and listening systems. + Collaborate with the USEC Executive Communications teams/forums for shared best practices and alignment on messaging, WW CommercialBusiness,Industry Marketing,Product Marketing,Engineering and othersto gather data and content for communications. + Build Momentum, excitement and inspire action in the field via the voice of the VP with relevant communications sent proactively and with predictable frequency **Field Customer / Partner Engagement and all Executive Engagement** + Build end-to-end plan for RVP and orchestrate and land all EBC/MTC/Customer/Partner Engagements. + Coordinate with field and corporate stakeholders to define clear objectives, business outcomes of Exec Briefing Centers (EBC)/customer/partner engagements to determine fit for RVP + Work with US Marketing events teams to identify new events/speaking engagements for RVP participation. + Manage Executive Sponsor and Partner Sponsor Programs and load balance the RVP's capacity to support accounts. Proactively review and schedule EBCs/Microsoft Technology Centers (MTCs) for RVP to meet when in Redmond. + Identify touch points for RVP to engage (ie. during field visits, calls, EBC's) with feedback from Account Teams and Partner Development Managers (PDMs) + Meet with WW Exec Sponsor team monthly to identify new processes; learn of any changes and provide communications to USEC Stakeholders to be proactive in securing and managing exec sponsors for strategic accounts + Proactive planning of VP engagements with strategic customers/partners (e.g.: 'problem' customers; Compete; Dark EA, Low Consumption etc) with minimal impact on field productivity + Ensure all executive engagements/field visits at RVP level and above are run smoothly with right customers/partners engaged and productive meeting outcomes achieved **Qualifications** + 4+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Communications and/or Operations & Program Management + Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills, with experience clearly articulating complex issues and deliver compelling information. Must have experience writing content consumed by both internal and external audiences. + Business maturity and experience working with senior executives + Proven track record of successful program leadership in complex, multi-function transformation environments with a relentless drive to get things done + Experience in executive communications, including employee communication, marketing, public relations and/or journalism strongly preferred. + Passion for communications, creativity and storytelling, including utilization of new channels, strategies, multimedia and other tools are effective to inform and engage people + Proven track record in developing communication plans and landing key messages for both internal and external audiences at all levels, with diverse cultures and languages + Strong organizational skills, cross-organizational collaboration, and examples of balancing competing projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment + High interpersonal awareness, ability to impact and influence, and behaving with both a customer-obsessed mindset, while maintaining a team-first attitude + Experience developing listening systems and measuring the impact and effectiveness of communications, adjusting communications plans, as necessary + Exceptional attention to detail and ensures accuracy in all deliverables. + Understanding of Microsoft's solutions, including customers and partner ecosystem + Eye for graphic design and multi-media creative (PowerPoint, Sway, videos, etc.) + Thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt plans and approaches in real-time **Core Competencies** + Strategic Thinking, Planning & Leadership + Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills + Impact and Influence + Cross group collaboration + Project and Program Management + Organizational Agility + Drive for Results + Customer & Partner Focus + Decision Making + Matrix Management **O** **ther** + Scale up and down and get things done themselves and lead across/partner with others to get work done. + Bring an informed perspective (respected by others) + Deal with ambiguity and can lead through it **Education** + BA/BSc or equivalent academic attainment required, or an advanced degree preferred. **Travel & Location** + Travel is expected between 25 - 50% of the time + Remote anywhere in the United States but will be aligned to Midwest region.
