Our unique workplace Culture of Excellence is built upon: Employee engagement, empowerment and growth Teamwork toward our common goal # providing exceptional health care services with a passion for making lives better An atmosphere of caring and quality that cascades throughout the organization Essential duties and Responsibilities Measures patient#s head and other body parts and marks points where electrodes are to be placed.# Attaches electrodes to predetermined locations, and verifies functioning of electrodes and recording instrument.# Operates recording instruments (Digital Sleep System, Video Recording) and supplemental equipment and chooses settings for optimal viewing.# Records montage (electrode combination) and instrument settings, and observes and notes patient#s behavior during test.# Conducts PSG, Titrations, and MSLT testing.# Writes detailed technical reports summarizing testing and results to assist Physician.# Keeps detailed log of patient#s actions during testing.# Performs computerized scoring. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to handle, finger, feel, climb, and balance. The employee must frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus, with occasional distance vision. Education and Experience Associate#s degree (A. A.), in Respiratory Care or Electroneurodiagnmostics, or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications/Licensure BRPT Registry required. Maintains current CPR certification.
