Job/Internship Description
We have a wonderful opportunity for an intern to join our Facilities team. In this internship, you will work in conjunction with our Facilities and Safety teams to audit our facilities for OSHA compliance, validate our lock out tag out procedures, and audit our equipment. You will also be responsible for validating and updating our existing facilities database.
This opportunity is great for a student pursuing a secondary education in skilled trades, architecture, or engineering. We are looking to place this intern through October 2021, but could be extended. This is a part time, paid opportunity working up to 30 hours per week. We will work with your school hours.
Valid driver's license and vehicle is a must as you will be travelling throughout our territory. APPLY NOW!
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
* Performs facilities auditing, to include current equipment list for all sites, OSHA requirements and communications on all equipment, lock out Tag out protocols in place.
* Performs data analytics on current Acruent (360) work order system updated.
* Create ENGIE reporting to meet forward (KPI) requirements.
* Audit Goodwill locations and support Facilities and Safety departments.
* Maintains a safe and orderly work environment and reports any safety concerns.
* Responsible for completing other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Valid driver license and ability to travel to Goodwill locations
* Capable of taking direction and performing work independently.
* Experience in Micorsoft Excel and Word
* Experience in working with blueprints.
* Auditing experience a plus.
* Experience in a facilities or retail setting a plus.
* Able to work flexible hours. (position is 24 hours per week minimum)
PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:
Regularly lifts and/or moves up 10 -20 pounds. Moves about to accomplish tasks. Lift: Raises objects from lower to higher position or moves objects horizontally. Climb: Moves up or down ladders, stairs, and ramps. Stoop, kneel or crouch in positions self to retrieve objects. Reach: Extending upwards or downwards to retrieve objects.
