Construction Site Manager Solar
job summary:
**Contract Position:** EPC client involved in large Solar Power Plant EPC projects is looking for a few Construction Site Managers for long term construction projects in Wisconsin. You need 15-20+ years of overall construction experience and at least 8 years as a Construction Site Manager supporting some sort of heavy industrial plant (power gen preferred) EPC projects. You need at least 5 years of Solar Power construction project experience. Client offers mob, demob, per diem, & paid trips home.

responsibilities:
+ Provide overall day to day on-site administrative and technical management of all field related personnel, subcontractors and work activities on a power plant construction project site
+ You will manage the construction of greenfield utility scale solar power projects from 25 MW and up
+ These projects will range from $60 M up to $200 M in value
+ You will be responsible for managing & directing at minimum, 20 people on site and at the peak, up to 100+ craft labor
+ Experience managing self-performing, direct hire staff is highly preferred
+ Responsible & accountable for all construction activities that occurs on the project site, including but not limited to: safety, quality, project controls, materials, subcontractors, contract execution, client interfaces, client relations, engineering interfaces and start-up/commissioning interfaces
+ Direct, coordinate and supervise on-site discipline superintendents, scheduling, engineering, cost control, material control, commercial management, and administrative staff
+ Responsible for the overall project safety and compliance with the applicable Safety and Health Plans (including reviewing and auditing site specific safety documentation)
+ Supervise and direct overall construction effort to verify project is sequenced and constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule requirements
+ Responsible for efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of Subcontractors
+ Enforce compliance with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules and client requirements
+ Interface with client representatives, municipal authorities and other contractors as necessary to execute projects
