Location/Division Specific Information This position is located in Milwaukee, WI 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm What will you do? * Follow established methods and standard operating procedures * Accurately dispenses and/or processes products using varying equipment. Products may be liquid, solid, non-chemical, or hazardous. Applies caps, labels, and assembles products for sales * Sets up, operates, and maintains process equipment, performs scheduled cleaning, and improves the performance of lab and process equipment adhering to current clean room practices. * Stages product and material for batch work and internal requirements * Follows World Class Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement guidelines to support site * Performs release operations for certificates of analysis and labels and batch records * The position is also responsible for any other duties apparent or assigned How will you get here? Education/Experience * High School diploma/GED Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Ability to verbally communicate, read and write in English * Experience in science environment preferred * Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, decimals, and fluently understand and use the metric system * Ability to handle chemicals and/or work in an environment where chemicals are present * The employee must frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move greater than 50 pounds with assistance * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand or walk for extended periods of time and occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or crawl * Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distant vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and differentiate pantone colors relevant to role. * Ability to adapt changing environment and handle multiple priorities. * Computer literate (minimally email, word and data processing) * Be mechanically adept and able to apply mechanical fundamentals to properly operate, maintain, and improve the performance of the equipment within their area of responsibility * Availability to work overtime if/when required to do so * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand or walk for extended periods of time and occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or crawl * Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distant vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and differentiate all pantone colors * The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds with assistance The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work being performed by people assigned to this job.
