Job Description

What you will do

Under the broad supervision of the Director Finance - IT you will perform financial analyses to support and measure the Global Product ERP Transformation program savings and cost results. The Global Products ERP Transformation is a multi-year, $300M+ program. You will interact regularly with IT, business, and Finance leadership to analyze monthly financial results and establish & measure key financial targets.

This person will works independently, with the knowledge and experience necessary to complete complex projects that are broad in scope and may not be well defined. The position functions as a key technical resource for management across the ERP Transformation program, providing accounting and financial expertise.

How you will do it

  • Establish tools to allocate and track costs & business case savings to the site level
  • Monitor spend and savings against the business case assumptions
  • Maintain oversight of the ERP transformation financial plan and help hold the execution teams accountable to delivery within scope and budget
  • Meet with project managers to discuss the progress of each ERP project, staffing needs, schedule changes, project scope adjustments, etc.
  • Update the program business case for major changes (as needed)
  • Work with the accounting team to ensure appropriate financial controls are in place for the project spend and month end close
  • Perform project monitoring and data collection to determine if the project is progressing according to budget
  • Conduct project audits, managing project schedules, and overseeing regulatory compliance issues
  • Serve as the liaison between the project team and the business unit finance teams
  • Create and maintain reports addressing all aspects of the project's financial lifecycle

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree in business or similar - (CPA) designation or a master's degree preferred
  • 15+ years experience
  • Multiple years of exposure to international accounting and administrative processes
  • General accounting and controlling knowledge
  • Advanced or continued training in the use of computer-based accounting and analytical software, spreadsheet preparation software, and budgeting tools
  • Project cost accounting duties and in financial reporting roles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and written/oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented team leaders who can consistently meet deadlines and possess the ability to work independently as needed
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse work group of vendors, executive managers, subcontractors, consultants and other professionals
