Job Title: Marketing Communications Associate

Location: Round Lake, IL

Duration: 6 months

Description:

a. Ability to design and create communications materials including but not limited to presentations/decks, videocasts, talking points, fact sheets, posters, advertising, infographics, invitations, and articles
b. Superior MS Office Skills
c. Ability to create a comprehensive site communications strategy, from concept to execution

a. Self starter that requires minimal direction
b. Superior organization skills
c. Effective communicator, both in person and via various mediums
Any specific education requirements?
a. Two to four year degree or 5 years related experience in the following fields: Graphics; Communication; Public Relations; Marketing

This position is responsible for working with site leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for Round Lake Drug Delivery (RLDD) and Penicillin. The Communications Specialist will report into the Round Lake Drug Delivery Plant Manager and interface regularly with the Senior Leadership Team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creation and distribution of site communications using various mediums (E-mail, PPT, etc.)
Creation and ongoing content development, design and management of core internal communication channels, including but not limited to SharePoint sites, e-newsletters and Yammer
Design and creation of communications materials as directed by the Senior Leadership Team, including but not limited to presentations/decks, videocasts, talking points, fact sheets, posters, advertising, infographics, invitations, and articles
Event planning and material preparation for various meetings/events, such as Town Halls, Monthly KPI and Financial Reviews and Operating Review, as well as other site engagement events
Prepares question and answer communications for employees
General office management tasks as needed to include ordering of supplies, scheduling of meetings, copying, etc.
Mandatory overtime may be required

Work Environment: Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment as office spaces are contained within an active manufacturing facility.

Qualification Requirements:

Superior computer skills
Superior Microsoft Office skills
Graphics expertise and skills (5 years experience.)
Proven writing/editing skills
Organization/prioritization skills
Ability to work with diverse individuals at all levels of the organization
Self-starter with the ability to work independently/with minimal oversight
Education and/or Experience: Two to four-year degree or 5 years related experience in the following fields: Graphics; Communication; Public Relations; Marketing
Language Skills: Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English.

Physical Demands:
Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs.
Frequent walking, standing and sitting, occasional bending, stooping, squatting
Frequent movement of the hands and wrist and ability to use a computer for 8 hours per day
Ability to wear protective equipment, when applicable
