Job Description

As the Federal Business Operations Executive focusing on the CPAC (Consolidated Patient Accounting Center) you coordinate activities across the Enterprise, communicating with senior leadership at both the Client sites and Cerner. This position will require you to successfully plan and execute in high pressure and time-sensitive situations. Specifically: Assisting in the definition, development, measurement of best practice initiatives and innovations through our partnership.Youcollaborate with key stakeholders at the CPAC to assist in defining and measuring performance and implementing programs which drive continuous improvement; define relevant KPIs (what to measure and how to calculate); define Standard/Repeatable Reporting (tell the story); and define Strategy for Client baseline, (i.e., measures, format, storage, etc.).You also measure Client Performance (score card/Dashboard); measure Operational Performance; eliminate Waste; grow Knowledge Repository/Reporting Library; and drive automation.In addition, you assist in reducing variation across health system affiliates through standardization and standard work process, and continually increase awareness of changes in the industry or regulations for which the health system needs to be prepared so that the health system can proactively implement compliance changes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 7 years of healthcare revenue cycle work experience
  • At least 7 years' executive level communication experience
  • At least 5 years' experience working with third party revenue cycle systems and interfaces or similar systems
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience either working with or directly in a centralized revenue cycle center
  • Knowledge of or experience with VA and/or DoD
  • Familiarity with Federal Business Operations Functions including but not limited to: RUR, OPECC Billing, VBA, Community Care, Workload Reconciliation and VERA cost accounting

Expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 80% as required
  • Must live in a virtually approved city
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
