  • Greet and seat Residents
  • Treat all Residents in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed Residents expectations.
  • Assign daily task and shift duties for all servers
  • Design and implement training plan
  • Train all waitstaff (Place settings, Serving, Breakdown, Prep, Beverages, To Go Orders, Label/Dating, Kosher guidelines, Cleaning, or other Job Task
  • Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables.
  • Interacts with Residents as they arrive and as they leave the dining room to ensure positive dining experience.
  • Solving any dining issues with the Executive or Sous Chef.
  • Making sure dining room is set-up and cleared for the next day.
  • Performs other duties as directed.
  • Cover any open positions for your waitstaff
  • Redirect job duties when short staffed
  • Make sure dining room is ready for lunch and dinner service
  • Communicate with staff in pre-service huddle prior to meals
  • Work with Executive & Sous Chef to implement procedures/policies
  • Supervising Duties (Holding waitstaff accountable for violating policies cellphone, breaks, dress code etc.)
  • Lead by example
  • Redirect staff to the nurse when experiencing symptoms and send employee home after communicating with the nurse. Report information to your direct report the Executive Chef.
  • Make sure that cleaning schedules are complete (Sign off checklist before end of employees shift).
  • Work with Executive & Sous Chef to make sure any catering orders are set up and taken down.
  • Create and organize FOH structure
 

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous wait person experiences preferred

  • Food handling certifications is highly encouraged for this position
