is a proactive, forward-looking means of qualifying threats poised to disrupt an organization based on the intents, tools, and tactics of the attacker. Our high-fidelity, comprehensive intelligence delivers visibility beyond the typical attack lifecycle, adding context and priority to global threats before, during, and after an attack.

A Custom Intelligence Intern will draw from FireEye's threat intelligence reports, raw holdings, and open source data, to create reports and/or presentations on diverse cyber topics, tailored to client needs and requested topics of interest.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver briefings and reports to the client executives, security team or fellow analysts.
  • Attend client calls to scope requested reports and/or briefings.
  • Identify cyber topics or reports of interest to customer and conduct research to distill the most important take-aways for a particular audience.
  • Design slide decks and write accompanying talking points under the direction of senior analysts to enable others to easily brief the material.
  • Ensure timely response to all suspense deadlines and administrative actions
Qualifications

The internship will include on-the-job training, so interns will need to have the capability to learn designated subject matter and roles relatively easily but are not necessarily expected to already have direct experience in the threat intelligence analyst role. Internship candidates deemed to likely have the necessary skill sets will be asked to perform a simple evaluation task during the candidate selection process to evaluate their capabilities.

Beneficial experience, skills, and knowledge include the following:

  • Attention to detail to ensure content accuracy, consistent formatting, and visual appeal of briefing material
  • Strong writing and analysis skills with the ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented attitude

Desired:

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and intelligence
  • Skilled in delivering oral presentations
  • Prior experience curating the most relevant content for a regular deliverable
