Welder - Direct Hire

Job Description
Oak Creek Area manufacturer has direct-hire opportunities for heavy plate steel welders. Candidates must have at least 5 years of prior work on steel using Mig and Flux Core. Other responsibilities include:
Responsibilities:
Weld components in flat/vertical or overhead positions
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
Position and secure workpieces, using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools
Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions
Required:
Able to read blueprints
Overhead Crane experience helpful
Fitting Experience desired
Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
Must pass a weld test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
