Job Description

Join a small growing company involved in all major markets: medical, automotive, agriculture, power generation, and many more. WHAT YOU DO: Make a big difference in a small company (40-50 employees) as our Estimator. We build products to our customers specifications, you assist our customers by making suggestions to improve manufacturability, review their drawings, write manufacturing methods, enter B.O.M.’s, assist in manufacturing and profitability improvements, quote labor/materials costs for new and existing jobs, communicate with the customer through the quote process and follow up with them after the quote is sent, and much more.

Overview of Responsibilities: -Review customer prints/schematics and general requirements, enter BOM’s and PN’s. -Create and/or Review Job Methods for Manufacturing. -Research and source material and labor costs. -Be able to produce cost estimates quickly -Manage various quotes at one time -Enter/Create simplified and concise work instructions -Meet face to face with customer when necessary, otherwise communicate via phone & email. -Wear many hats in a small company environment.

WHAT WE NEED: A hardworking individual with a strong work ethic, written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, ability to search Internet quickly/effectively, excellent attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Experience in estimating and/or electrical assembly a plus but will train the right candidate with no experience. Minimum of HS diploma required. Applicant must be able to work well with our customers and with others internally. Occasional travel to customer sites may be necessary. Estimating position requires rapid response and working against deadlines. No CAD experience necessary.

Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week minimum (OT as required) Shift: First Shift, Monday - Friday (occasional Saturday) Pay: $15-$19/hour
