Herzing University has a temporary, contract role for a remote Subject Matter Expert to specialize in our Surgical Technology program. This temporary, contract role (10-15 hours per week) reports to the Healthcare Division Chair. We are looking for a Surgical Tech professional who can focus on developing a dynamic ST program.

Examples of initiatives in this role include:

  • Development of original content, assessments, and assignments
  • Selection of text or other reading material
  • Assist in Realizeit course development
  • Collaborate with Project Manager and communicate any issues, changes, or questions.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Experience as a highly resourceful team-player, who is also extremely effective independently
  • Minimum of two years' teaching experience in a DPT or PTA program.
  • Experience in curriculum development preferred
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred
