Job summary
The housekeeper is required to perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Summary of essential job functions
- Clean rooms, offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and other work areas.
- Clean rugs and carpets with vacuum cleaner and shampooer. Sweep, scrub or wax floors using broom and mop.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to move or lift objects up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to move through different work areas including climbing on ladders, stairs, ramps, and step stools, bending, stooping, pulling, pushing and reaching at or above shoulder level.
- Ability to follow directions.
