Job Overview:

Perficient is looking to add a Sr. Technical Consultant- Node.JS Developer to our National Commerce Business Unit. This candidate will be responsible for design, development, testing & training. You should be comfortable working in a challenging and fast-paced environment while working independently as well as part of a team.

Develop applications in languages including Node.JS
• Experience with various MVC JavaScript frameworks such as: Angular.JS, EXT.JS, Backbone.JS,Node.JS, EmberJS, BootstrapJS, RequireJs, D3.JS, etc.Responsible for developing the partner Homepages using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React JS, Node JS and JQuery.
• Able to develop code on the assigned platform and respective integrations in collaboration with other technical team members.
• Participate in elaboration sessions with clients to understand client vision, requirement gathering which help to design, develop and define the scope of project.
• Perform customizations and custom module development required as per requirement.
• Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following Perficient standards.
• Produce detailed design documentation, unit test plans, and well documented code artifacts.
• Attend stand-up meetings and report technical blockers to the project lead.
• Attend sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
• Able to understand unique business and technical requirements of the engagement and facilitate communications on the most appropriate solution design.
• Independently manage assigned tasks.
• Understand Cloud framework, dev and deployment strategy (as most platforms are now cloud hosted).

• Experience working with backend technologies such as Node.JS
• 2+ years of experience in advanced technical positions (software engineering, development, solution engineering, software architecture, consulting) working in complex IT environments
• Experience delivering responsive web-based solutions using Modern JavaScript Frameworks, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Backbone.js, etc.
• Experience with RESTful APIs in a microservice architecture environment
• Knowledge of version control systems, web development experience
• Detail oriented, with very strong technical problem solving and debugging skills
• Demonstrated experience in service delivery, with strong leadership, organization and communication skills
• Successful delivery of solutions leveraging offshore resources
