Overview

Mayvin is currently seeking a Biochemists and Biophysicists Journeyman to provide support for Department Homeland Security Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction.Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel,or administrative services.

Must have an active Secret clearance

Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities
    Support the development of system performance analysis documentation for assigned Government tests
  • Perform Quality Control on a variety of products for specific test events.
  • Apply the CWMD Model- Test-Model program. Such support may require coordination with the National Labs and other supporting organizations and may directly relate to modeling efforts of various CWMD directorates, as applicable. Modeling efforts will provide support for test design, pre-and post- test analysis, model validation, and modeling of scenarios not related to or addressed in testing to support analysis of performance outside the test space. Modeling and simulation will be used to support test scenario and test objective design. The Contractor shall tailor and utilize modeling and simulation tools and document analysis results
  • Provide government approved data management and data collection services. Data collection system (DCS) can be a Contractor acquired commercial off-the-shelf data collection systems, or data collection systems that may be developed by the Contractor or other sources. The DCS must be tailorable/configurable to support the specific data collection and quality control requirements for each test. The Contractor shall also provide coordination support for the related testing activities which may involve personnel from multiple organizations. The Contractor shall demonstrate the ability to collect data per a Technical Demonstration within 45 days of contract award by using either the current Government data collection system or by using the contractor's own data collection system
  • Apply systems engineering best practices to the maintenance and operation of the data collection system for CWMD-approved T&E events. Assign personnel, qualified on the applicable data collection system, to work with each test team planning to use the data collection system for a specific test event, as required by CWMD, for the purpose of (1) identifying and clarifying data collection and data verification & validation (V&V) requirements for data collection system usage and (2) advising the test team on the level of effort and schedule required for implementing the requirements.

Qualifications
  • Must have BA/BS with 3-10 years of experience in related field or a MA/MS with 2-8 years of experience in related field
  • Must be able to preform all functional duties independently
