Job Description
Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service.  We are seeking a full-time Compliance Officer that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.

Responsibilities include: Develop and implement a Compliance Program for the participating Milwaukee Community Health Centers that produces individualized compliance assessment for each participating Milwaukee CHC, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations that govern Milwaukee Federally Qualified Health Centers, oversee and monitor the development and implementation of the Health Centers’ Compliance Program annual work plans, identify high risk areas and potential areas of compliance vulnerability through risk assessment, Identify methods to reduce the Health Centers’ vulnerability to fraud and abuse, develop and coordinate a training program that focuses on the components of the Compliance Program and that seeks to ensure that all Individuals Affiliated with Health Center are knowledgeable of, and comply with, pertinent federal and state standards and Health Center’s Compliance Program and Standards of Conduct, perform audits as needed, Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and its related activities, develop and periodically review and update Standards of Conduct to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to management and employees, collaborate with departments to direct compliance issues for investigation and resolution, respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures, provide reports on a regular basis, boards and senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts, ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies, Institute and maintain an effective compliance communication program for the organization, work with the Human Resources Departments and others as appropriate to develop an effective compliance training program, maintain strict confidentiality about individual health center findings and proprietary information.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor degree
  2. Three to five years of experience in compliance or grants management
  3. Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks while working as part of a team
  4. Ability to relate well to people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
  5. Demonstrate initiative, ability to work with others, and good professional judgment
  6. Ability to work independently and organize time effectively
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  9. Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  10. Travel required including valid driver’s license and auto insurance
