Job Description
SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Senior Marketing Specialist is a key member of the marketing team. The person in this position is responsible for working in collaboration with Business Development, Project Management and Marketing team members to develop and implement vertical market plans and a comprehensive corporate marketing plan in support of our company growth goals.

  • Responsible for creating and implementing omni-channel vertical market marketing plans in support of company growth goals including segmentation and targeting.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Coordinator to shape and leverage digital marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing overall company marketing plan.
  • Collaborates with the Senior VP and the CDS Growth team to develop new revenue, market expansion and market penetration strategies.
  • Creates clear and compelling value propositions and enhances our growth efforts through effective storytelling.
  • Direct creative talent (in house, agency, etc.) to create tools in support of marketing plan implementation.
  • Develop marketing campaigns for new products and services as needed.
  • Supports the HR department with marketing efforts when needed.
  • Determine risks and opportunities in the market through ongoing review of market trends, economic and environmental trends, competitor communications, etc. by collaborating with the Market Research Analyst.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Coordinator to manage marketing and brand management for maximum impact at events, tradeshows and programs. 
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field. Or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • 5 - 7 years of project/program management experience.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong writing skills for composing proposals, presentations, reports, correspondence, and other written materials. Must be able to synthesize information and produce professional work product.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • CRM experience is an added value.
