Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Consultant - Sourcing, Supply Chain, Category Manager in our Denver, CO office. 

The project manager will have complete responsibility for the day-to-day management of the engagement, including all aspects related to managing our consulting team, resulting in a successful delivery and a satisfied, reference-able client.

Under broad direction, responsible for managing and prioritizing initiatives, managing the implementation of the category strategy and supplier agreements, determining category and sub-category strategies, managing suppliers and their contracts, and measuring cost and benefits.
• Responsible for market intelligence and category analysis by assessing external market conditions, identifying risk, and developing effective cost reduction models.
• Must possess excellent project management, business analysis, change management, collaboration, communication, contract/negotiations, and risk management skills in order to successfully coordinate supplier relationships and major commercial decisions across a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Leads the business through decision making and champions opportunities to make necessary improvements.
• Contributes directly to value creation.

• 5+ years of consulting industry experience, with strong relationship management and account management.
• Proficient in collaborating with project stakeholders, end-users, business partners, and technical team members to deliver high quality projects. 
• Hands on with project documentation. Well-versed in industry best-practices and current technologies. 
• Experience within Supply Chain
• Experience understanding seven step sourcing process.
• Flexibility to travel.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
