Job Description
Export Operations Associate (000022IU)

Possess the ability to process cargo for export adhering to the SOP guidelines and instructions provided, review and comprehend temperature handling related instructions in order to preserve the product temperature and follow interdepartmental instructions along with directions from foreign offices to prepare the shipment for export and smooth customer clearance at destination.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assure correct handling by:
  • Verifying all attached paperwork
  • Complying with any replenishment needs
  • Prepare Bill of Lading (Domestic and International shipments by Air and Truck)
  • Secure cargo space by booking via Telecomm, web, e-mail, etc.)
  • File Shipper's Export Declarations for high valued shipments
  • Pre-screen cargo for export where applicable
  • Refurbish reusable packaging
  • Monitor, respond to and action follow up notes in a timely manner
  • Monitor, respond to and action personal and group email accounts in a timely manner
  • Monitor all "On-Hold" shipments for export and/or delivery approval
  • Monitor and update the Outbound Flight Monitor
  • Proficiency in Cold Chain Management which will include but not limited to
  • Gel Pack/Packaging preparation
  • Gel Pack/Packaging refurbishment
  • Gel Pack/Packaging configuration
  • Maintain all individual Training Records, Certificates and Qualifications and complete tests by due date
  • Assist all Leadership Team Members in all daily functions and/or activities needed
  • Monitor site Inventory usage of Supplies and Packaging



Qualifications

Requires completion of a high school diploma general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of one (1) year of equivalent work experience.



MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Practices Professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal/written)
  • Proficient in Worldstar, ACE, OAG, Optiview, Webdoc, Opstar, and all World Courier systems/software as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Full understanding and Certification in Cold Chain Management
  • Full understanding of GxP compliance
  • Forklift Certified
  • In order to best serve our customers we do require flexibility in work schedule
  • Must possess basic mathematical skills
  • Possess the ability to lift 75lbs
