The Opportunity

Clean HarborsBaltimore is looking for a Processing Operator to join their safety conscious team! This is a 2nd shift position; hours are Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm. However, must be available initially between 8am and 4pm for training.

As aWastewater CO2 System Operator,you will be responsible for monitoring and operating our one of a kind, high pressure CO2 extracting system (CES) in association with our wastewater treatment operations. Additionally, duties will include sampling wastewater trucks, pumping wastewater from tanks, and treating tanks. This is a labor-intensive role, often working outside in all types of weather.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner always
  • Operates the unit with direction from the laboratory with details outlining tank parameters, extraction efficiencies and waste matrix
  • Ensures unit has daily maintenance duties performed and communicates any problems or issues with the unit immediately upon discovery
  • Performs chemical sampling on wastewater trucks
  • Pump and treat wastewater in tanks and trucks

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • 1+years of CES Operator experience
  • Wastewater treatment systems experience
  • Previous experience working with incinerators
  • Chemical sampling experience is an asset.
