ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for understanding all current training and to communicate these effectively with crew and Supervisors. Ability to use Microsoft Office and other software for data entry or analysis required as is ability to work in a team environment and to a flexible schedule (sometime) is desirable. Have a problem solving mindset with good communication skills and attention to detail. Job functions must be performed with the highest degree of integrity. In addition, Sanitarian must be:

• Able to operate a Forklift truck.
• Able to read, understand, and train to Safety Data Sheets.
• Able to use a high-pressure hose and cleaning agents safely and effectively.
• Willing and able to work in very wet conditions.
• Physically capable of performing all duties.
• Aware of all plant safety rules/procedures and be willing to follow them.
• Disassembles and cleans equipment throughout the facility.

The position maintains equipment used for sanitation (spray guns, foaming lines, nozzles, pumps etc.) and verifies chemical are at correct concentrations by titration during cleaning cycle. In addition to direct equipment cleaning tasks, supports department with:

• Perform Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) tasks and documentation.
• Maintain proper labeling of all primary and secondary containers per Safety Data Sheets.
• Conduct training and validation of proper cleaning techniques throughout the facility.
• Assist QA with pre operational checks and correct pre-op failures.
• Create Job Elements Sheets (JES) and train personnel to specific tasks.
• Perform pre-shift clean up and sanitation duties according to SSOP's and/or JES.
• Perform post-shift clean up and sanitation to assure first pass pre-op success.
• Keep supervisor and leaders informed of items requiring attention.

• Perform any other duty assigned by management.
