If yes, the Amazon Prepared Foods/Home Meal Replacements team is looking for somebody with your enthusiasm and skills to work as part of the team. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, analytical, and experienced Process Engineer to drive design and standardization across our supply chain network. This role requires an individual who can demonstrate a passion for consumers, a willingness to move fast & experiment often. The successful candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced startup environment.

The Outbound Supply Chain and Engineering Team is seeking a candidate with strong quantitative and analytical skills. We're looking for an individual who is self-motivated and will seek ways to drive supply chain optimization from food manufacturer to delivery of finished goods at the channel (e.g., Amazon Go Store, Amazon Fresh FC, etc.). This position will partner and drive critical programs to determine root cause of operational challenges, drive process improvement, build KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and metrics, and present findings and recommendations to business partners and management. We're seeking someone who demonstrates the ability to manage medium to large-scale projects that are innovative or complex and at the same time deliver as quickly, accurately, and as cost effectively as possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals, performing data analysis as necessary
* Drive the team to improve operational efficiency for all services through the identification and development of SLAs, metrics, monitors, procedures, tools, and documentation. Uses data to make decisions
* Plan, organize, and implement process improvement initiatives to ensure safe, economical, and effective use of materials, energy, and people
* Drive initiatives regarding improvements of existing processes and providing feedback on new practices and procedures including goals and success measurements in order to scale
* Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical supply chain operations
* Provide leadership and effective communication across multiple internal and external customers and ensure their needs are being addressed
* Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to define and create a program that will scale and prioritize business critical functions that align with king-pin goals
* Ability to support complex projects simultaneously
* Project management from conception to completion
* Develop tertiary packaging and work with vendors and co-packers to integrate into the value stream
* Optimizing tertiary packaging utilized as part of the supply chain and make engineering changes necessary to meet customer requirements and improve production/utilization efficiencies
* Customer and stakeholder relationship management across multiple departments
* Uses business knowledge to set priorities and develop project plans
* Has a deep understanding of best practices in their area of expertise and ensures their application
* Think proactively and work to prevent support issues before they are realized
* Conduct and lead project meetings with Sr. Leadership
* Establish appropriate escalation paths

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field: Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering and/or Operations highly preferred
* 6+ years' experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Consultant, Analyst, Engineer, or related role
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps, Linear Programming)
* Experience influencing multiple stakeholders, supporting cross-functional teams across geographies and business units, and building relationships in order to achieve results
* High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
* Proven track record of complex and creative problem solving and the drive to create and launch new programs
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Up to 25% travel is required if candidate is not based in the Seattle area. Any candidates based in Seattle, would require up to 10% travel.
