Job Description
This position will be assigned to support production departments in the plant regarding control and delivery of products to / from the line:

The position may be required to:
- Perform primary functions using SAP system for Production Reporting, Material transfers, and other transactions as required.
- Store production parts in Controlled stores by location as received from supplier shipments or fabrication departments. Verify quantities received to system balances or to a production order requirement.
- Report production in SAP based on parts received and routings processed
- Pull production parts from warehouse per production router process or SAP identified process for plant production lines per established priority levels and required quantities. Establish kits for sub-assembly, including required tooling that is staged for use by production, which may include pulling tools from Plant2.
- Perform system balance transfers in SAP and database as necessary.
- Issue raw material to production line and pull inventory tag, if necessary. Retrieve unused material and weight prior to restocking Controlled Warehouse.
- Administer control over “Consigned” material and deliver tags to Material Control as consumed. Follow FIFO process.
- Assist with cycle counts in Controlled Warehouse location, including additional support that is required at Physical Inventory for preparation and leadership.
- Work with Materials and Production to coordinate scheduling. Communicate parts issues to Materials where system balances don’t agree with floor quantities.
- Assist with system balance corrections as necessary, including participation in “shortage” investigation review when required.
- Support material handling requirements of production lines as necessary
- Read and understand Engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Contribute to our Continuous Improvement efforts, Kaizen, MPS, etc.
- Demonstrate good skills on computer software, excel, word, access
- Must work well with multiple departments/people and have the ability to multi-task different projects.
- Perform material movements in plant (forklift) as required per Indirect Material Handler standard work matrix as position requires and people rotate through positions.
- Reports inferior workmanship and material to Supervisor. Keep your work area neat, clean and safe.
