Job Description

 

Johnson Financial Group is seeking an experienced senior level trust professional with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. This individual will provide administration to complex ultra-high net worth multi family relationships.  Reporting to the SVP Director of Wealth Strategy, they act as Fiduciary SME point of contact supplying technical expertise to Family Office and Associates concerning fiduciary and estate related matters.  A successful Senior Trust Officer will have the ability to resolve issues being mindful of reputational risk.

 

In this role you will:

 

  • Provide administration on special Wealth trust accounts, especially those of a delicate or complex nature.
  • Act as a technical expert to the Wealth Division regarding personal trust and estate administration.
  • Demonstrate depth of experience to handle demanding client relationships, complex analytical thinking, reputational risk sensitivities, and financial risk remediation.
  • Have extensive interaction with legal, tax, real estate and estate settlement expert centers.
  • Analyze and comprehend the governing trust documents, partner with Senior Investment Advisors to communicate to clients and their advisors regarding the account.
  • Provides support in the preparation for and response to fiduciary audits and ensures that any audit findings are appropriately responded to and remediated.
  • Core business understanding of the Fiduciary business as defined by role with understanding and ability to articulate full scope of internal products and services.
  • Lead a team that supports the multi family relationships. You will effectively communicate performance expectations while monitoring and holding staff accountable for their performance.

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline; JD preferred.
  • 10 years’ experience of Wealth Fiduciary Administration experience preferred
  • Strong trust compliance, fiduciary and regulatory knowledge required
  • Experience working with ultra-high net worth clients and complex trusts
  • Strong sense of collaboration with internal and external partners
