Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Troubleshoot and handle major technical and mechanical breakdowns. Perform preventive machine maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience is desired. 3 years previous electro-mechanical
troubleshooting experience and previous machine repair experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of technical areas including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and welding. Able to handle
major technical breakdowns as well as perform simple preventative maintenance throughout the plant.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Troubleshoot and handle major technical and mechanical breakdowns. Perform preventive machine maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoots and repairs faulty circuits and equipment; replace electric motors; maintains and repairs various production stations.
- Plans repair projects, including making estimates of time needed and materials.
- Installs and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Tests completed work and makes necessary adjustments; makes periodic inspections of systems for safe and efficient operation. Performs preventative maintenance procedures on a regular basis.
- Makes reports of time and materials required to repair and maintain equipment; may supervise helpers on major installations and repair jobs.
- All other duties assigned.
