Job Description

Join our team who is committed to the delivery of the highest quality health care service. We are seeking a full-time Clinic Manager for our school-based program that is self-motivated, energetic, and a take charge individual.
 

Responsibilities: Ensure strategic growth of the school-based program by evaluating viable opportunities for SSCHC school-based services,  rigorously assess school-based center growth and sustainability opportunities using established tools and recommend expansion opportunities to SSCHC Leadership Team. Actively cultivate strong relationships with existing and candidate schools by providing outreach throughout the year. Secure all necessary legal agreements with schools (e.g., Business Associate Agreements) to conduct due diligence assessments of program fit and facilitate completion of Participation Agreements with selected schools. Collaborate with SSCHC program leaders to ensure coordinated delivery of programming and services within school-based health center. Also collaborate with SSCHC program leaders to explore opportunities for aligning and catalyzing efforts to advance child health and well-being across all SSCHC program offerings. Work with SSCHC clinic managers, clinical providers, and partner school leadership to establish school-specific performance and outcome measures. Respond appropriately to client needs and partner with clinical staff and clinic managerial team to mitigate school-based health center issues as they arise. Develop systems and relationships within each school to limit Provider time spent on management/operational work. Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars (e.g. Faculty Meetings, Council Meetings and other meetings as needed. Represent SSCHC within community forums for the purpose of maintaining ongoing community support for goals and/or assisting with issues related to school-based clinical environment. Promote SSCHC clinical and school-based services through positive relations. Prepare financial budgets and financial reports under the overall direction of SSCHC Leadership and establish regular meeting time with stakeholders /administrator to share.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Prior related experience; Program Coordinator, Program Manager, School Liaison
  3. Strong Customer Experience: Builds strong relationships with school administration and leadership and delivers customer-centric solutions.
  4. Process management – Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continually improving school-based health services.
  5. Drives vision and purpose – Paints a compelling picture of SSCHC’s vision and strategy for school-based health services and motivates school leaders to engage.
  6. Action oriented – Takes on this new service line opportunity with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  7. Strong Communication skills, written and verbal – Develops and delivers written and oral communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different constituents.
  8. Planning and priority skills.
