IT Infrastructure Senior System Administrator will install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux servers in the United States and work with system administrators globally, primarily in Australia and China. Analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software. Work with application development team, business owners, and infrastructure team members rolling out new systems and migration projects. Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with standard implementation practices and security standards.

Major Responsibilities:

• Administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers including performance tuning, monitoring, scripting, version upgrades, and assist on projects. Administering Linux Network File System (NFS) and supporting web servers. Work with application teams providing support on issues and OS upgrades.

• Provide daily support for issues, backup and recovery, data storage, system access and security.

• Ensure proper OS licensing and support is in place and maintain version management for all servers.

• Assist in company's Disaster Recovery planning and testing and audit processes.

• Act as the platform expert for RHL and advisor for colleagues utilizing and integrating client-server tools and be willing to educate and teach others team members

• Solve complex technical problems, plan and execute projects, prioritize tasks, conduct research, and work independently under constraints of time and resources.
