Job Description
The Crater is responsible for packaging finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) per shipping requirements.
A successful candidate will be responsible for:
A successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Stage finished product for loading
- Load finished product onto truck
- Unload materials / components from truck
- Move materials to warehouse / plant storage and put away
- Conduct cycle counts
- Count items received or shipped and check against packing lists, record any discrepancies
- Prepare receiving or shipping reports and notes any shortages or damages
- Accurately perform material transactions
- Put away materials into proper locations in warehouse / stockroom
- Responsible for quality control - ensure damaged product are not shipped or accepted in
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1+ years of related experience
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Ability to drive a forklift and obtain a forklift certification
- Well organized, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Ability to use hand and/or power tools
