2nd Shift Supervisor

Job Description
- Supervise 2nd shift operations ensuring the achievement of production objectives, quality standards and customer delivery requirements.
- Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments, and directly supervise the systems integration and test functions to ensure the production of company products at the highest quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards, and customer specification and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Ensure the training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s standards for quality, quantity, and safety.
- Plan production schedules based on current status of production and materials including to update and communicate them.
- Ensure the completion of all required production paperwork, records, documentation, such as time cards, vacation requests, quality records, etc.
- Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of people, and quality of product.
- Develops or revises and communicates standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
- Work closely with other areas of production on various assignments as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education High School Diploma (Associates Preferred) Experience and Training 4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing setting overseeing multiple departments, shifts or more than 60 associates.Food manufacturing experience; Management of exempt associates; Bi-lingual in English and Spanish; Experience working with GMPs; Experience working in a production environment with USDA
