Job Purpose

• Serve as the primary interface between the Integrated Supply Chain organization and the Product Review step in IBP.
• Deploy / Execute IBP decisions to optimize business results.
• Facilitate and make “where to make decisions” that support new product introductions and optimize supply of existing products.

Key Accountabilities

• Primary responsible for 2.5MEuro/year insourcing cost reduction objective
• Collaboratively makes "where to make" decisions.
• Manages the toller network ($25M/yr spend with >25 different companies).
• Works with businesses and business leaders across the region to introduce new products while ensuring manufacturability and optimal supply chain placement.
• Represents the ISC in the Product Step of IBP.
• Leads the Sourcing board that makes strategic make versus buy decisions, aligns manufacturing and procurement strategies and tactics.
• Represents the region in key global ISC and Business initiatives like raw material simplification or product localization.

Key Activities

• Must be capable of conducting and understanding financial scenarios that optimize total delivered costs by comparing internal production costs (fully burdened and incremental) versus external costs and the impact on total delivered costs.
• Must effectively manage $25+M/year (and work to dramatically reduce) outside toller spend by collabating with Procurement to define the strategy and negotiate more favorable terms.
• The candidate will be responsible for the Sourcing Board including setting priorities and controlling the agenda to improve business results.
• The EXCO approval requests specifies that the role will be self funding and must reduce costs by at least 2-3X total compensation.

Experience

• Bachelors Degree or or higher in Engineering or Business.
• Minimum 10 years in Manufacturing or Supply Chain roles, with at least 5 years in leadership positions.
• The candidate must be able to conduct and interpret financial scenarios, communicate effectly with business leaders, influence people at all levels of the organization and in a variety of functions, and manage outside suppliers in a skillful way.

Education

• Bachelors Degree or or higher in Engineering or Business.
