Shine Early Learning partners with local organizations to support the delivery of high quality services through Shine Assist and Shine Implement programs.

Primary Responsibilities: 
This position serves as a Substitute Teacher for our Head Start Learning centers.

The Substitute Teacher will work collaboratively with the Teacher to ensure the successful operation of 0-3 or 3-5 year old children. Substitute Teachers work closely with other teachers, staff and families to implement curriculum to achieve strong outcomes for children of all abilities.

The Substitute Teacher will ultimately be evaluated on a combination of skills, dispositions and behaviors, some of which are related to the specific service area of this position and others that represent general expectations of all Acelero Learning employees.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, required
  • Certified Development Associate credential, (CDA)
    • OR degree in early childhood education or related
    • OR willingness to complete Early Education course within first 7 weeks from start date
  • Pass all pre-hire background screens
  • Able to lift a child weighing 40 lbs or more as needed

This position is called in as needed and earns $10.87 an hour.
