POSITION Field Service Technician
JOB LOCATION Sussex, WI
STARTING DATE Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM Direct-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) 1 st Shift, Travel Required
STARTING PAY Depends on Experience, $20-25 per hour

REQUIRED EDUCATION HS Diploma or Equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE At least 5 years related experience
The Field Service Technician performs the assembly, installation and commissioning of equipment. Other tasks include troubleshooting and repairing various problems (mechanical, hardware and software control programming, pneumatics, etc.). Most machines are PC and/or PLC-controlled. Some machines are linked to Customer s IT network.
Responsibilities
You will be expected to travel 75-80% of the time
Responsible for installation and start-up of new and pre-owned machinery;
Give training and technical advice to Operators, Maintenance Technicians, and Customers.
Qualifications
Experience in food manufacturing environment.
Must be able to modify and troubleshoot PLC programs in the field as required by customer.
Have strong mechanical aptitude.
Be able to read and understand pneumatic and hydraulic drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
