Mechanical Designer
Growing international engineering and manufacturing company looking for a Mechanical Designer to assist in machine design, development and documentation of assemblies & sub-assemblies. Located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin - Ozaukee County. Mentoring and growth potential.

Growing international engineering and manufacturing company looking for a Mechanical Designer to assist in machine design, development and documentation of assemblies & sub-assemblies. Located in Cedarburg, Wisconsin - Ozaukee County. Mentoring and growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and documentation of assemblies and sub-assemblies of various machines produced by Infinite Motion Control (IMC)
- Update and maintain all current and as built BOM’s, assembly drawings, and detail drawings.
- Organize and keep hand sketches, basic machine calculations, and project notes for each assigned machine project.
- Calculate and apply basic GDT principals through form tolerance and dimensioning of detail parts.
- Create designs in line with company procedure and regulations
- Submit drawings to engineering management prior to release
- Maintain engineering change notice records
- Provide support during the building and installation of the machinery
- Support the project books for the production department
- Help to lower costs and improve efficiency
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Design OR two years’ experience in industrial machinery design
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Skilled in SolidWorks
- Results driven
