A Solutions Architect looking for a collaborative position that requires a strong understanding of solution design, business and financial benefits of technology and business owner interaction. You will Interact with the engineering, project management and business owner teams by providing experience, industry perspective and expert-level knowledge to build and deliver solutions to the customer.

Job Details:
- Proven ability to properly communicate at different levels of the organization from an engineer to c-level executives
- Motivate the organization to provide consistent, high quality technical support
- Conduct periodic operations reviews with the management team to maintain a focus and cadence on excellence
- Ability to function effectively under pressure in environments of rapid change and conflicting demands and crisis management.
- Strong leadership skills and demonstrates creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources in clear concise language that is the parlance of each group.
- Hands on experience with various infrastructure tools and technologies
- Experience with strategic activities like writing proposals, writing SOWs, presenting to clients, running solution/requirements POCs is a plus
- Experience estimating projects is a must (time, cost, effort, number of resources)
- Exposure and experience with cloud strategies and involvement in cloud migrations to AWS, Azure or Google
- Strong solutions architecture experience is a must
- Experience gathering requirements and translating into a technical solution
- Demonstrates strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to depict technical information conceptually, logically and physically.
- Understands and can communicate the value of Agile, testing and Enterprise Architecture
- Have proven project experience with architecting and delivering solutions that reduced complexity and delivered value to organization
- Ability to work comfortably in varying levels of abstraction across business strategy, product strategy, high level technical design, detailed technical design and implementation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Information Science or Ten years relevant technical experience in Solutions Architecture.
- Strong understanding of Internet/IP related technologies including, but not limited to, routing, switching and sub-netting
- Understanding of core ISP technologies such as DNS, SMTP, HTTP/S and WAN
- Knowledge of Fiber channel/iSCSI/SAS storage arrays
- Understanding of concepts such as RAID
- Virtualization technologies with a focus on administration AND design and architecture
- Network Security, Backup and backup related technology experience
- Experience with Disaster Recovery technologies and Disaster Recovery testing and planning
- Experience with Firewall solutions, load balancing and high availability technologies
- An understanding of database technologies
- Familiarity or experience with several of the following products would be beneficial: VMware ESXi, MicroSoft Hyper-V, Linux, Windows, Juniper, Dell, EqualLogic, Compellant, Zerto, Citrix and CommVault
Training:
- Must have a EA framework Certification (TOGAF, EA3 , Zackman etc).
