Job Description
Position Description

Counsels with internal departments to develop opportunities for waste reduction in engineering productivity activities. Navigates through the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) roadmap in order to execute projects in business order of priority. Delivers system functionally and documents successful results.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Monitors, reports on and cleanses the PLM database
  2. Gathers and documents process design requirements for complex processes in PLM
  3. Develops and implements data models for items of various types including parts, tasks and workflows
  4. Configures workflow to embed processes in PLM
  5. Develops and executes user test plans and implements workflow
  6. Creates training material and conducts training for new process roll-out
  7. Works with management to create dashboards for reporting
  8. Executes projects delivering New Product Development (NPD) functionality in the PLM system
  9. Acts as the subject matter expert for PLM functions
  10. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
  • Proficient with PLM and Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems, procedures and networks
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer/supplier relationships
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Thorough understanding of complex standards and applications in an engineering environment
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or Related field
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of five years working PLM and CAD experience
  • Minimum of two years of CAD/PLM system administration experience
Certifications Preferred
Teamcenter Certified
