Job Description
The M-TEC (CNC) Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to setup, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on M-TEC machine. M-TEC (CNC) Operator will need to process enclosures, subpanels, and other designated items through the CNC machine center in an efficient manner consistent with the standards of the company's standards.  M-TEC (CNC) Operator must have the ability to understand and follow any and all CNC Operation Instructions, including drawing notes and display genuine interest in satisfying our customers.  The M-TEC (CNC) Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications. M-TEC (CNC) Operator may be asked from time-to-time to assist in training or directing other shop employees.  M-TEC (CNC) Operator must interact and collaborate with various internal departments to ensure project accuracy.  M-TEC (CNC) Operator may also be asked to interact with customers on occasion.  M-TEC (CNC) Operator are responsible for proper care and maintenance of the CNC machine center.  
Essential job functions
  • Setup M-TEC (CNC) Machine Daily (Calibrations, Inspections, PM) to begin running production
  • Test and Control and adjust machine settings when need to meet product specifications.
  • Inspect Product periodically to make sure the machine is running correctly.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices.
  • Must know Company procedures and be able to train and supervise others.
work experience requirements
  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to program machine
  • Experience with quality procedures, including ISO9001:2000 requirements.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
education requirements
  • High school diploma or related experience.
