The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Southern Wisconsin Center (SWC) is currently recruiting to fill a Limited Term Employment Facility Repair Worker position. SWC is a state operated Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. SWC provides a wide variety of programs and services designed to assist and prepare individuals to live successfully in the setting that best meets their needs. Working hours are either 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. or 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. with every other weekend off. These positions will work between 24 to 40 hours per week depending on work load. Hours worked after 6:00 pm will receive a $0.45/hr. night differential add-on, and hours worked on the weekend will receive $0.60/hr. weekend differential add-on. Position Summary: The Facility Repair Worker performs minor architectural and structural repairs, campus deliveries as well as preventative maintenance to maintain them in an aesthetic, safe and functional condition.
