Clinical Support- Lake Mills Clinic (.8FTE) (7471-1527)
The Clinical Support person is a customer and patient service oriented team player who is responsible for supporting the clinics by providing a variety of services for preparing and maintaining patient records, preparing patients for physician, other provider or nurse, interacting maintaining optimal patient flow and assists with patient care as directed. The ever-changing healthcare environment has expanded our search to include individuals with current CMA, MA, CNA, EMT, or LPN certification for this role. We identify the experience that each individual can bring to our clinic setting.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required plus additional vocational/specialized healthcare training required.
Other Education: Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program, Medical Assistant program, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Must be able to provide a statement verifying a minimum of 24 months experience in the last 36 months under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. Completion of ABR within 3 months of hire. OR
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Must be able to provide a statement verifying a minimum of 24 months experience in the last 36 months under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. Completion of ABR within 3 months of hire. OR
Medical Assistant, Registered - Must be able to provide a statement verifying a minimum of 24 months experience in the last 36 months under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. Completion of ABR within 3 months of hire is required. OR
Certified Medical Assistant - completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program required, certified by the AAMA within 6 months of hire. OR
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Completion of a nursing program, licensed as an LPN in Wisconsin at time of hire or within 6 months of hire.
CPR required
CNA's and EMT's who are hired into this position will be required to complete medication competency training and pass appropriate testing within 90 days of hire in order to work in the job.
