Job Description
In this job you will perform a variety of assembly and wiring operations from complex drawings and specifications for standard and custom products.  Considerable initiative and ingenuity required to plan and assemble complex-designed products such as UPS and SMS systems. 
Tasks require a high degree of eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and the use of both hands and arms on a repetitive basis for a full range of motion. You will frequently use hand and power tools; occasionally work while standing on ladders; and occasionally work inside tight compartments. 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: 
Assemble and wire products based on the documentation including bills of material, blueprints and any change notices provided by the Engineering staff. 
Fabricate, drill, tap punch, and mount all items necessary to assemble the product according to product specifications and blueprints. 
Complete power, control and shielded wiring within panel according to documentation and schematics. 
Interconnect sub-panels and structural components according to product documentation, blueprints and accepted wiring practices. 

At a minimum, you must have the following: 
Ability to use shop math and measuring tools such as torque wrenches, rulers, calipers and voltmeters. 
Ability to work from complex blueprints and wiring drawings, schematic diagrams, and specifications. 
Ability to identify electrical components such as LEMs, CTs, wire gages and lugs, insulators and bus bar. 
Ability to operate light machining tools, other hand-held tools and wiring equipment. 

Relevant Work Experience: 
Two years of experience in electronic assembly and wiring. Mechanical assembly and/or electrical wiring. Candidates with electrical or mechanical trade school education may also be considered.
