Corporate Account Manager, Technology Solutions

Job Summary:

The Corporate Account Manager, Technology Solutions drives growth and revenue through uncovering, managing and closing of sales opportunities in a territory of key accounts. This individual will focus on building relationships with key decision makers and working closely with other Direct Supply sales teams to develop relationships and manage leads.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Selling Expertise
    • Responsible for selling the Technology Solutions product portfolio, including nurse call, wander management, electronic access control, video security, and facility monitoring systems
    • Lead, manage and win large, complex sales opportunities
    • Analyze customer needs and present value-added solutions by delivering effective sales presentations, in person and via telephone to key customers
    • Partner with National Accounts, Capital Sellers and Technology Designers and lead cross-functional teams as necessary to achieve sales and margin goals
    • Bring expert knowledge of Technology Solutions offerings to customers through consultative selling
    • Develop and implement strategic selling plans while meeting timelines and goals
    • Exceed customer's expectations by delivering consistent, positive experiences
    • Learn, understand and be the face of Technology Solutions to the Senior Living industry
    • Represent One Direct Supply by understanding all Direct Supply solutions and engaging other Sales Partners and LOBs where appropriate
    • Conduct customer visits at Direct Supply and travel to visit customers as necessary
  • Relationship Building
    • Develop and cultivate effective customer relationships throughout the spectrum of Senior Living founded upon a solutions selling approach
    • Establish credibility and trust within integrated selling teams in order to coordinate communications through selling process
    • Build relationship with strategic manufacturer partners to jointly sell and grow shared business.
  • Business Results
    • Achieve aggressive sales and margin growth goals
    • Develop and drive short- and long-term strategies that help Technology Solutions grow revenues and margins
    • Contribute to the forward progress and development of the company and its value proposition

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of technology sales experience including selling at the executive level required
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
  • Formal presentations skills
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, focused on internal and external customers, including executive level
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant or related systems, services and technologies and/or ability to learn (i.e. nurse call systems, wander management systems, building mechanicals, information technology, etc.)
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing and analyzing reports
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales budgets and client expectations
  • Valid, unexpired state driver's license required

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Senior Living industry (corporations and industry issues)
  • Experience selling nurse call, wander management and facility monitoring systems
  • Experience in team selling environment and track record of success in leading larger teams.
