Shift: 1st Shift 8 am to 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

The Front-End Full Stack Web Developer (Web Developer) is a key member of the Digital Communications team within the Marketing and Communications Department focused on delivering exceptional web experiences to visitors to froedtert.com and other Froedtert Health-managed websites. The Web Developer has a passion for understanding user intent and enjoys problem-solving to deliver easy web experiences to those who visit us across a variety of browsers, operating platforms and devices.


Summary:

• 3 years web development experience as a front-end engineer, a front-end designer or a front-end full stack developer.
• 3-5 years relevant experience, including work with Drupal modules and theming.
• Experience with Drupal 8 environment strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in web development, computer science or related major. In lieu of degree, high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• Web development certification preferred (e.g., W3Schools or WOW certification such as CWDVA).


Other Information:

• PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, HTML5/XHTML, databases/queries, CSS/SCSS, APIs (REST, JSON, SOAP), CSS Frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap), Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, version control software (e.g., Git), UI/UX skills, Google Analytics and GTM Understanding of: - developing in a content management system - SEO - Cross-browser/OS compatibility - Web development processes and teams - Responsive/adaptive design Understanding of: - Drupal, Ajax - Audience segments, A/B testing and customer data platforms - Visualization software and dashboards.
