Summary:
The QTI Group needs Equipment Operators in Southeast Wisconsin for a family owned utility contracting company headquartered in Green Bay. Candidates must have good hand dexterity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Most importantly, candidates must be safety conscious. This is a direct hire opportunity with great benefits! Pay rate is between $18-$21/hr depending on experience! The hours of the position are M-F from 7:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. with opportunities for overtime. Year round work! Apply now for consideration!!Responsibilities:
* Operating construction equipment (directional drilling/bore rig, trencher, cable plow)
* Performing any physical labor required to install underground cable
* Unloading and loading equipment
* Digging holes and locating existing utilities
* Preparing cable routes and feeding cable
* Securing the job site, and placing signs where directed
* Performing shore, slop trench, and excavation when necessary
* Other duties assigned by the Foreman
Qualifications:* CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL is preferred
* Must be able to travel and stay in a hotel M-F of each week if necessary (worksites are typically 2-3 hours from where you live)
* Quit time of 5:00 not guaranteed, as field conditions change
* Clean driving record (insurance acceptable) is required for all positions
