Position Description:

The Opportunity

Our facility in North Salt Lake, UT is seeking permanent full time Industrial Field Laborers for the area. This position will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operates light and heavy equipment including, but not limited to: pumps, vacuum equipment, oil spill boom, generators, bobcats;
• Performs tasks associated with tank cleaning, hydro excavating & hydro blasting;
• Performs emergency response activities such as chemical and water spills clean-ups, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning, equipment decontamination.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• Previous industrial experience such as hydro blasting, vacuum truck, tank cleaning, or refinery-based work, preferred;
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the year, for up to 2-3 weeks at a time required;
• Previous laborer experience (e.g. industrial construction) preferred;
• Valid Driver's license with clean 3-year MVR required;
