Job Description
ESC is seeking a Digital Content Copywriter with experience performing SEO keyword research and creating compelling digital copy to be used for ecommerce product and marketing promotions. The Digital Content Copywriter is responsible for the creation of the Product Matrix Page (PMP) and Product Detail Page (PDP) copy blocks to enhance SEO and drive traffic to the organization’s ecommerce retail site. Perform research to identify opportunities to add rich content to PMP’s and PDP’s.

- Leverage keyword research fundamentals and knowledge of SEO/SEM to write unique, relevant and engaging content to affect rankings
- Produce exceptional content with appropriate SEO components
- Learn and write in Kohl’s voice to create a cohesive customer-facing experience
- Partner with SEO Core Team to create relevant copy that upholds Kohl’s SEO standards
RESEARCH AND REFINE CONTENT
- Refine a large volume of optimized SEO content daily
- Assist with conversion and maintenance of Product Information Guides
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors in Communication, English, Marketing or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and how it applies to content strategy and marketing
- Ability to create rich content with unique keywords
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
