Job/Internship Description

As a member of our Technology Platform organization you'll manage various network tasks and activities along with being a resource for process management, process improvement, daily networking tasks, information systems and metrics.

This internship is year-round, accommodating a part-time schedule during the school year and full-time during breaks and summer. This position may also lead to full-time employment upon graduation for the superior performer.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Provide day to day operational ownership of a subset of IT Infrastructure platforms and applications;which includes creating and maintaining operational systems documentation and performing required maintenance and updates.

  • Assist Platform Engineers in establishing, maintaining and enforcing system standards.

  • Document technical systems and end-user self-help guidelines.

What You'll Need:

  • Enrolled in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking/Data Center or related degree program, preferably as a freshman or sophomore

  • Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and applications as well as Linux and other open source products

  • Knowledge of Scripting Language / Development Tools

  • Ability to work 20 hours during the school year and full time during the summer

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, Active Directory, SharePoint, VMware and/or IIS is a plus

  • Security minded, technology awareness
